Our Winter Quarter club meetings are held in Howard Schneiderman Lecture Hall [HSLH 100A] Thursday at 7:00pm starting 1/12. We will be screening an episode from 6-7 anime series during each meeting, with the next episodes on the following meeting.

OIT (UCI's Office of Information Technology) is also looking for student assistants to the Help Desk.
Basic tasks would include helping people set up email on phones and computers,
troubleshooting wireless network connections, assisting with UCINetID logins and activation,
and triaging calls to the appropriate department to assist callers with their computing issues.

It’s Week 7; the end of the quarter will be here before you know it! We hope you’ve been doing okay finishing up those midterms and maybe taking a much-needed break before finals start to loom.
The OP/ED contest concluded its first round in club last week, which means we have our first full lineup of winners! These OP/EDs will now be matched up against each other to see if they can stay in the running for round 2. Here they are:
We are back to having a Friday meeting this week; it will be in Humanities Gateway 1800 at 7pm as usual.
Our big event for the weekend is our Little Tokyo trip this Saturday, Feb. 25th. We’ll drive down for the day and enjoy food, shopping, and entertainment around the area. If you’d like to go and haven’t signed up as a driver or a passenger yet, fill out your information on this doc Here.
Carpools will be meeting at the flagpoles in the morning around 10:00 (check with your driver for a specific time).
Other upcoming events to keep in mind are our club picnic on Sunday of Week 8, March 4th. Contribute to our picnic menu by adding to this doc Here.
We are also holding a watch-a-thon on March 10, where our officers will watch and comment on bad and entertaining anime for your enjoyment. We’d also welcome any participation from club members who are interested. In order to get our watch-a-thon going, you can start donating in any amount during this week’s club. The more we get donated, the longer our participants will have to watch bad anime!

Today we will be replacing Kuragehime with Baccano! In the next few weeks we will be finished up shows in our first half, and be replacing them with new shows. The new shows will be announced in club, as well as on this site.
Next Monday will be our quarterly Animixer! It will be held next Monday, January 30th, from 6:00-10:00p in RH192 [Rowland Hall]. You can find more information on our Events page, or on our Facebook page. If you're able to bring any TVs, Consoles, or games, pleasel list it Here.
And finally, throughout next week, we will be holding a bake sale to help fundraise equipment. So look for us on Ring Road.

Welcome back to a new quarter and a New Year! We've got a lot of stuff planned for this quarter, so let's make 2012 the best year yet! Out first meeting of the quarter will be this Thursday at 7:00pm in HSLH100A; the same room as last quarter. No Friday meeting this week. But once Friday meetings start up, we'll update everyone.
