Our Fall Quarter club meetings are held in Howard Schneiderman Lecture Hall [HSLH 100A] Thursday at 7:00pm starting 9/29. We will be screening an episode from 6-7 anime series during each meeting, with the next episodes on the following meeting.

Thanks everyone for coming to our first Karaoke/Little Tokyo trip of the school year. Photos from the trip have been posted up in the photo section. Photos include the Kamen Rider vs. Super Sentai event that was going on in the evening as well. If you have any photos you want to share in our club album, please e-mail them to us.
As for our event for this week, we're doing movie night tonight! We'll be screening Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works [More Info] at 6pm in room PCB 1200. If you need to know where room PCB 1200 is, go to the UCI map for details here: http://www.uci.edu/campusmap/
And finally, Sunday, November 20, we're going to hold a picnic at the William R. Mason Regional Park. Meet us at the flag poles near Langston Library at 11:00am so we can walk to the park. If people want to just meet us at the park, we'll be there by 11:30am. A picnic wouldn't be a picnic without food, so if you're interested in joining us, please let us know if you're bringing anything by adding your dish on our Google Docs

Happy Halloween everyone! Pics from our Halloween meeting is now up on our Photo's section.
This week we're starting our first Friday meetings in room HG1800 at 7:00.
Our Friday meetings is different from our normal Thursday meetings. We usually sample a random series during our Friday meeting. If there's a series you want to see during our Friday meeting, please e-mail your suggestions to us.
Also, the main event this week is our Little Tokyo/Karaoke trip. We plan to meet-up at 11:00am Saturday. We plan to spend the first 2-3 hours [depending on turn-out] with karaoke, and then the rest of the day in Little Tokyo. If you're interested in going, please add your name at our Google Docs so we can coordinate rides. Thanks to everyone who showed up in costumes for our Halloween meeting yesterday. Pictures of our Halloween meeting will be posted up by Halloween.
Don't forget tonight we're going to be having our first livestream. No physical attendance necessary - join us from your living room or bedroom as we stream a variety of anime and anime-themed entertainment to you! Hilarious chatroom commentary IS encouraged. Our livestream starts at 7pm here.

Halloween is coming up. This means it's time for our annual trip to Knott's Scary Farm! For those who don't know, Knott's Berry Farm turns into a Halloween Theme Park during the month of October. Along with their usual roller coaster rides, they also have monsters and haunted mazes set up to scare everyone. If you want to get more information about Knott's Scary Farm, you can check out their site here.
Tickets for Knott's is $47. However, you may find tickets at a discounted price at UCItems. Just go to UCItems and see if they have Knott's Scary Farm tickets for 10/21. You can find more information about UCItems here.
Be aware that the club will be going out for dinner before going to Knott's. Details on when and where to meet-up for Knott's will be posted later this week.
Also, next Thursday, October 27th, we're going to have our Halloween meeting! This means we welcome people showing up in cosplay. We've been cosplaying during our Halloween meeting at least in the past few years [2009 pic above]. So if you have a costume you want to show off, our Halloween meeting is a perfect place to show off your best costume!

Our Animixer is coming up this Wednesday at 6:30 to 10:30pm in Emerald Bay A, located in the Student Center. For those who don't know, our Animixer is basically when we have a bunch of TVs set up in a large room and play tons of video games. These games vary from fighting games, to shooters, to music games, to dance games, and even retro games. It's really up to what everyone brings!
During our Animixer we will have a snack bar selling Pizza, sodas, chips, and candy. Pizza will be $1 a slice. We're also going to be raffling our a copy of Ultimate Marvel v. Capcom 3, which we will give out upon it's release in November. A raffle ticket for the game will be given out for every 2 items you purchase at our snack bar. Additionally you can purchase a raffle ticket for $1 each.
You can also RSVP for the event on Facebook and let us know what games you would like to see at the Animixer so we can try our best to bring it. Or you can even help out by bringing games that's not listed in the Facebook event.

Thanks everyone for coming to our first club meeting last Thursday! We hope everyone enjoyed the meeting.
We updated our Membership section with details on how how to sign up for our Special Membership, as well as benefits for the membership. Special membership is not required to join and participate in this club, but it does help fund the club.
Also, don't forget that tomorrow we're going to have our first Masquerade Meeting for those who want to join our club Masquerade. The meeting will be in room HH118 at 7:00p.
And on Wednesday, we're going to hold our first New Member Party! Though the party is geared towards our new members, old members are invited to the party. We will be playing games and getting to know each other. We'll have food and drinks available for sale. But new members get a free slice of pizza and drink! Please e-mail us at cal.animage.epsilon@gmail.com to RSVP so we know how much food and drinks to bring. The party will be held in HH262 at 6pm.
And finally, we added Hi-Chew candy to our club snack bar. So we'll have Hi-Chew available on sale for our next regular club meeting.

To help guide members to our new club room at HSLH 100A, we're going to have officers stationed at or near Middle Earth and Mesa Court.
For Middle Earth students, we'll have a club officer stationed in front of Pippin sometime between 6:00-6:30p.
At 6:30p, the officer will leave and guide students to the club room.
For Mesa Court students, we'll have a club officer stationed in front of the Mesa Bridge that leads to the Humanities section of UCI sometime between 6:00-6:30p.

Also we're bringing back our Club Snack Bar! Our snack bar includes an assortment of chips, Skittles, and soda. The soda choices we have so far is Dr. Pepper, Sprite, and Diet Coke. Hi-Chew will be added later in the quarter.
Finally, after our club meeting, we usually go to Norm's Restaurant to eat a very late dinner and socialize. Rides will be available for those who need it. The address to Norm's is:

Our summer meetings are over. So we're no longer going to hold club meetings for the rest of the summer. Regular club meetings will resume on Thursday 9/29, to start our first official club meeting for the 2011/2012 school year. The room will be determined.
We will also be holding a booth during UCI's Club Fair during Welcome Week on 9/19 from 11:00am to 2:00pm in Aldrich Park. So come visit us if you're going to the Club Fair!
