Our Spring Quarter club meetings are held in Howard Schneiderman Lecture Hall [HSLH 100A] Thursday at 7:00pm starting 4/5. We will be screening an episode from 6 anime series during each meeting, with the next episodes on the following meeting.

We also have Firday meetings between 7:00-10:00pm at the Student Center. Due to unforseen circumstances, we will be meeting at different rooms each week. Thanks everyone for another awesome trip to Little Tokyo/Karaoke. Photos from the trip have been posted up in the photo section. If you have any photos you want to share in our club album, please e-mail them to us.
But now we’ve passed the halfway mark, and Week 6 is here. We hope you did well on your midterms (or will do well if you still have them coming), and can take a break to join us at one of our events this week.
Our Animixer was postponed, but now it’s finally here! This Wednesday evening from 6pm-10pm in Student Center room Moss Cove AB, join us for video games, snacks, and a raffle. Feel free to bring friends, and spread the word! We’re also still looking for equipment, so if you can donate a TV or console for the evening, please sign up on this doc here.
Our Thursday meeting this week will be the regular time, regular place. One of the shows in our second half, Shangri-La, will be ending this week, so make sure to come and watch the exciting conclusion. The climax episode of Baccano! also airs this week, so come on time to catch one of the most thrilling episodes of the series.
This week’s Friday meeting is in the Student Center room Crescent Bay A at 7pm. Our PR officer Nicha will be selecting the show, which we’ll announce on the FB page and at club on Thursday.

Hi everyone! Incredibly, it’s week 5 already; we’re almost at the halfway point. Good luck studying for your midterms; we hope you can find time to join us at one of our several coming events.
Our CAE Bake Sale is back all this week! We have a prime spot in front on Aldrich Hall on Ring Road from 11am-3pm, so come by and support us by buying some treats or just saying hi. We’d also welcome help staffing the booth and contributions of baked goods, so if you’d like to bring something or help out, sign up on this doc here.
This coming Saturday, May 5th, is our quarterly trip to Little Tokyo. There’s plenty to do; people usually shop, have lunch, and sometimes hit the arcade or karaoke. Check this doc to sign up for a ride or offer to provide one (drivers are needed!) here. At the moment ride spots are very tight, so make sure to check with the driver of your car for meet up times, locations, and possible additions to their cars to avoid confusion.
Our Week 6 event will be the CAE Animixer. We have a student center room this quarter, so there will be lots of space to set up TVs and game consoles for lots of video game fun. But in order to make it the best event possible we’ll need people to donate their electronics for the evening. If you can bring a TV monitor of any size, game console, or games, please list your contribution on this doc here.
Club will also meet regularly on Thursday at 7pm for the next episode of our six shows. Our Friday meeting this week will be held in Student Center Room Doheny Beach D at 7pm. We’ll be watching the anime Air, selected by our treasurer Sarah.

Hey everyone, it’s Week 4!
In case you missed it, our winner for this quarter's OP/ED contest was Carnival Phantasm!
Also, ever found yourself wondering about the process behind fansubbing? If so, attend the fansubbing workshop this Wednesday in PCB 1300, which will be hosted by one of our lovely club members, Justin! You will need to bring your laptop and headphones, and we’ll provide the rest. Check our Events or Facebook page for more info!
We will be having our usual Thursday meeting--same Bat-time (7pm), same Bat-channel (HSLH 100A). Unlike the week before, this week’s Friday meeting will be at Crescent Bay A at the Student Center. We will be watching PR Officer Rose’s pick, Persona 4: the Animation! For those of you who attended the April Fool’s meeting on Week 1 and watched hiimdaisy’s P4 comic dub but had no idea what was going on, we can get you started with the first six episodes. Come by and tune in!
Next week we will be holding a Bake Sale on Ring Road, and we’d absolutely love any help we can get. If you would like to volunteer some time to help around the booth, or even bake something, just tell us! (Or conveniently post on this Google Doc here)
Ever felt like you wanted to get even more involved with club? If so, we are looking for people who would like to take command as next year’s club officers! All positions are open, so if you’re interested just come by and talk to any one of our officers during the Thursday meeting. Elections will be happening soon, so don’t wait until it’s too late! Hi everybody, and welcome back! We hope spring break treated you well. For those who need a little bit of help easing back into school work, we’re here to help!
The new spring quarter is going to kick off with our first Thursday meeting on April 5th, in HSLH 100A at our usual time of 7pm. Because it’s our closest meeting to April Fool’s Day, this meeting will be April Fool’s themed, so please come ready to be surprised at what we have in store for you! There will not be a Friday meeting this week.
During Week 2, we will return to our regularly scheduled programming. There isn’t a Friday meeting this week either, because our events coordinator Katrina is hosting another CAE Livestream in its place! Be online at 7pm on April 13th for a great line-up of awesome and crazy anime, with the 18+ Late Night Livestream starting at 9:30pm.
Our first big event will be on April 21st, the Saturday of Week 3. We’re excited to announce that this new weekend trip will be to Frank and Son’s warehouse, a store that has something for everyone! With everything from anime goodies to special hobby items to sports memorabilia, you can’t find something you won’t want to buy! More information like rides and meet up time will come once we get closer to the event.
