~ Information ~

Here's all you need to know concerning the time and place of the quarter's meetings, membership, and behavior required during showings.

Location

The meeting place for Cal Animage Epsilon's Fall 2008 meetings is Multipurpose Science & Technology Building (MSTB) in room 118, building number 415 on the campus map. We will update this page as soon as information is avaialable. A map of the entire campus can be found here for people who need the reference.

Time

Meetings are held every Thursday from 7:00pm to 10:00pm, except during vacation weeks and Finals Week.

After Meetings

After meetings, the club officers and regular members often have dinner at Norms Restaurant in Costa Mesa. If you are interested, then by all means, carpool with other members and go!

Membership

To become a member of Cal Animage, you need to fill out a membership application. Officers have them on hand during meetings (and they will eventually be available on the web. ^_^). Membership is $8 for one quarter, and $20 for the academic school year. What does it entitle you to? As a member of CAE, you have access to anime from the club's digital/tape fansub library, a chance at the raffles where we give away cool stuff, and you're helping to support the club!

However, membership is NOT required to attend meetings, so that means non-members are totally welcome as well. ^ ^

Conduct

During our showings, we ask that everyone present please keep all side comments to a minimum. Comments to your friends are fine, but everyone in the room shouldn’t be able to hear what you say. If someone is warned twice in one sitting, the third time will result in that person being asked to leave. If you feel that you cannot refrain from making loud derrogatory remarks, show some respect and sit out the current show. Your fellow anime fans who actually want to watch the show will thank you.
