What is CalPIRG?

California Public Interest Research Group (CalPIRG) is a student run and student funded consumer advocacy and environmental organization. We fight for the public interest against enormous special interest groups, most specifically huge corporations, who often take advantage of California citizens and endanger their health and basic stability. In essence, we are the primary public advocate , and we fight for what is in the best interest of the Californian citizen.

When are the meetings?

CalPIRG meets Monday @ 5:00pm in Moss Cove A on the first floor of the Student Center. The CalPIRG office is in HTC T701, the trailers by Humanities Instruction Building (HIB).

How is CalPIRG run?

We are an organization that believes that an individual who is willing and capable will be able to take on anything that you throw at them. Our structure represents that, as anyone who wants to take charge is able to.
