Events to raise money for our DFIs, local organizations and our club. A great way to be more involved is to join the Fundraising Committee. We traditionally plan Korean BBQ sales, Car Washes, All in For Unicef (until it was recently not approved, replaced with Mr. CKI), Eat 4 Services (in conjunction with Socials), and a Sports Tournament.
Service Auction
What: An auction in which members will offer their volunteering services to their buyers. For example, a buyer can buy a Circle K member who offers to wash cars, so the buyer's car can be washed. All proceeds will be going towards one of our DFIs: Not for Sale.

Key to College
What: An event packed with workshops and a panel section catered specifically towards high school seniors and other students interested in attending UCI, college admissions, and college life.
When: February 24th from 5-7:30pm
Where: SSPA
They occur after every normal weekly meeting, service projects and regular weekends. This is a great way to make friends with your fellow anteaters and we usually have a good turnout from other schools as well. Special socials occur about once a month and many times during the summer, some of these are in conjunction with our family system.

What: Another day of to hang out with your family and compete with other families in an assortment of fun games!!!

All members are welcome to join the board in going over past and future projects, discussing their plans for their prospective positions, planning for upcoming general meeting and discussing any issues that have come up during the week EVERY SUNDAY at 6pm in Newport Beach A. This is also the time in which the board votes for members of the week (in which all guests must be excused until board decides who is the member of that week) and also give each other "snaps" (positive notes and thoughts written to each other; guests are allowed to participate too!).
Committee meetings are open to everyone who is interested!!! These meetings are held to not only to reduce the workload on our board members, but to also gain ideas and input from our amazing members to organize fun and exciting upcoming service projects, socials and fundraisers. It is also a great opportunity for members to help organize events and developing leadership and fellowship skills! Attending the following meetings is the fastest way to learn more about Circle K while making good friends:
-Fundraising Committee: planning larger fundraisers and making the smaller ones a success! Come to committee meetings EVERY FRIDAY at 2pm in Crescent Bay A!!!
Kiwanis Family (K-Fam) Committee: Committee meetings are ONLY HELD FOR HUGE EVENTS such as organizing Kiwanis takeovers and the annual Key to College. For the mean time, attend the Saddleback, CDM and Lake Forest Kiwanis meetings to get to know our Kiwanians, our community sponsors, better! We will be having committee meetings for the upcoming Key to College!!! Meetings will be held Wednesdays from 6-7pm in Humanities Gateway 2310.
-Scrapbook Committee: Building the end of the year traditional and non-traditional scrapbooks from scratch; no experience necessary just lots of amazing ideas!!! Come and brainstorm ideas at committee meetings EVERY THURSDAY from 7:30pm-9:30pm in HH 232. For February 23rd, THERE WILL BE NO COMMITTEE MEETING!!!
-Service Project Planning Committee: Discussing about possible new changes to weekly and monthly service projects during the Spring Quarter to plan for the next school year.
-Single Service Committee: Planning quarterly large scale projects and often raise funds to make those projects even more meaningful at our committee meetings EVERY TUESDAY from 5pm-6pm in Balboa Island A.
-Spirit/Social Committee: Preparing for skits and teach members our spirit cheers that are commonly used at district, divisional and club events such as Fall Training Conference (FTC), District Convention (DCON). Come to our COMMITTEE MEETING WEDNESDAY FROM 7PM-8PM in HH 118 and help us organize socials and create new cheers!!!
