Hip Hop Showcase/Cultural Art Exhibit

A Cultural Revolution: It's What We Are

Kababayan's Annual Hip Hop Showcase, "Cultural Revolution: It's What We Are" this year is combined with our Cultural Art Exhibit. The two events have been fused together into an explosive display of both the various ways the Filipino-American Community has contributed to the four elements of Hip Hop--DJing, emceeing, bboying, and graffiti--and also to show how we as college students CHANGE and BECOME CHANGED by the many forms of culture and art that surround us. Kababayan is using this event to showcase art by a variety of artists and performers ranging from: members of Kababayan ourselves, the greater UCI community, and across California--from SD to THE BAY! You don't want to miss out on this exclusive event!
