Science Extravaganza (SE) is an all-day event that aims to provide middle-school students from the San Juan Capistrano district with the opportunity to participate in a series of exciting, hands-on scientific workshops and laboratory experiments. SE promotes careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by giving students the opportunity to meet and work with engineering students, faculty, and staff. Parents are invited to participate in financial aid, college readiness, and scholarship applications workshops. Attendees also have tours of the various engineering facilities and laboratories.
