As we think about The Plan two things about Jesus Christ stand out to us. He loved the Father and He loved those who were far off. Jesus says in John 12:26, If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there shall My servant also be…

The Plan has always been to follow Jesus. For us this means our ministry is built on the foundation of a depth of relationship with God. Like Jesus we value discipleship of a few in the hope of seeing God bring about depth in the whole. We also value His word and the freedom that is found in obeying His commands. It all begins with this relationship with Christ. As we experience His love, His truth, His grace, we are set free to love. Now this leads us to the other thing about Jesus—His love for those far off.

We are convinced that if one follows Jesus, that person will find him/herself in the world. Jesus came into the world. Yes, literally, but once He got here He continued to go into the world—meaning He left the religious establishment and went to those who were far off. We love that about Him! It is important to us to keep our ministry in the world. Telling it with words just doesn’t quite do it. We invite you to come and see. Let your light shine before men…

That’s The Plan. It’s simple; follow Jesus. Love God and love people—especially those who are far off.

Isaiah 58:10-12
And if you give yourself to the hungry
And satisfy the desire of the afflicted,
Then your light will rise in darkness
And your gloom will become like midday.

And the LORD will continually guide you,
And satisfy your desire in scorched places,
And give strength to your bones;
And you will be like a watered garden,
And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.

Those from among you will rebuild the ancient ruins;
You will raise up the age-old foundations;
And you will be called the repairer of the breach,
The restorer of the streets in which to dwell.
