General Membership
Our general membership program provides an opportunity for students to be a part of Nu Rho Psi before you meet national membership requirements. General members have access to many of our events and resources, but our full members are given priority for our more exclusive events such as faculty luncheons. Events open to all members include journal clubs from spotlight faculty, faculty presentations, mentorship from older undergraduate students, and much more.

Nu Rho Psi National Honor Society Membership
National requirements include the following:
- Major, minor, or emphasis in neuroscience or related discipline
- May include UCI majors such as biology, psychology, and cognitive science
- Completion of at least 4 neuroscience courses
- 3.2 overall GPA, 3.5 neuroscience GPA
Membership in the Nu Rho Psi National Honor Society is one of the highest honors you can obtain in neuroscience. Members are recognized with honor cord distinction at graduation and awarded a certificate and pin for their achievement.
Applications will begin to be accepted during winter quarter 2023 and will include a one-time membership fee. Please contact nurhopsi@uci.edu then for more information on how to become part of the national society.
