Thanks to everyone who attended the UCI Medical Center tour with us!

Our faculty advisor Maureen Movius was the "tour guide" of the hospital as she led 15 students total to various units including Med Surg, Neonatal ICU, Burn ICU, Adult Rehab, and more.

Don't forget--our last meeting, Nov. 23, is a potluck! Bring an entree, drink, snack, etc. to our meeting and get to know your fellow NSSA members better! Also, there is an Ice Skating Social @ Anaheim Ice on Nov. 20th! Please check out the Events calendar for more details! Hope to see you there!

Happy November, everyone!

The Autumn Years Talent Show on Saturday, Nov. 7, was an enjoyable experience for both performers and residents as NSSA members demonstrated their musical talents in the local Alzheimer's Care Home. Autumn Years is located in Costa Mesa and is currently looking for interested volunteers who would be willing to dedicate two hours a week to socializing with residents diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimer's. Check out the Get Involved page for this and more volunteering/internship opportunities!

Also, I've put up the slideshow from the talent show and updated the events and officers sections.

Hope to see you at tomorrow's meeting! We will have two very special guest speakers present, and we will also discuss exciting upcoming events!
