Mission Statement

PACA (PharmSci Alternative Careers Association) is motivated to promote the exploration of non-pharmacy career paths through creating career-oriented communities.  We want our fellow pharmaceutical science undergraduates to be exposed to research, networking, and volunteering opportunities.

We look forward to getting to know you through our general meetings, socials, and events! General meetings can involve workshops (resume workshop, med school application Q&A) or guest speakers to share their experiences. Our socials are a great way to get to know other Pharmsci majors and our board members as well! We also hope to host volunteer opportunities such as beach cleanups and providing food for communities as long as quarantine guidelines allow them.

We’ve all been through a lot of similar experiences and situations that you may encounter throughout our years as UCI students and are happy to help with any questions you have about professors, classes, careers, housing, and more!
