A community pharmacy is the place where most pharmacists practice the profession, which is typically located in a retail setting- drugstores, groceries, etc (i.e. CVS, Walgreens, Target, etc.). With a large emphasis on personal service and community commitment, community pharmacies is the area of greatest employment. Guest speaker, Dr. Abbey Baldonado, will be talking about this topic and her experiences. Please come with any questions! Dr. Abbey Baldonado, Pharm.D, received her B.S. in Biological Sciences here at UCI in 2001, and successfully earned her Pharm.D at USC School of Pharmacy in 2008.
