2nd Annual Southern CA Pre-Pharmacy Symposium

The registration for the Southern California Pre-Pharmacy Symposium is
now open. The
event will be held at Ronald Tutor Campus Center Ballroom at the University of
Southern California from 9AM-5PM. There will be various guest speaker
from all of
the different fields of pharmacy, along with current pharmacy student panels and
mock interviews! If you are interested, it is important to REGISTER ASAP on
www.socalprepharmacy.org .

There is a $10 fee for the event and
parking will be
an extra $2 a person, however, lunch will be provided. Because the
paypal function
for the symposium on the website is not functioning properly we will
be collecting
the cash and checks when we return from break. We would like to have the money
collected by January 13, 2012. They can be brought to the first
general meeting or
dropped off at 256 Aldrich Hall once winter quarter begins.

The symposium is the 2nd annual and was started by an organization called SCPPA
which includes the Pre-Pharmacy Societies from UCI, USC, UCSD, UCLA,
UCR, SDSU, and
Cal Poly Pomona. During the year, the ambassadors of each board meet
a few times a
year to schedule and plan the symposium for the Pre-Pharmacy students
that attend
these schools. More information can be found on the website or on the Facebook
 event http://www.facebook.com/events/154933634608184/.
