About Me: Brenda is a 5th-year senior at UCI studying Political Science and Sociology, with a minor in Spanish. Before she transferred to UCI she was involved in Rotaract Club at UC Merced, and is one of the founding members of the Rotaract Club at UCI. She is very friendly, dedicated, and passionate about service work. Brenda is very involved in campus organizations like LSPA, SAGE Scholars Program, Center for Educational Partnerships, UCI Law Pro Bono Program, and currently interns with Orange County United Way, a non-profit organization in Irvine. She hopes to work in DC for a year, and then pursue Law School after traveling the world.
Interesting Fact: Brenda has played in a bongo band, and has 7 brothers and sisters!

About Me: Hardeep is a Junior at UCI studying Psychology and Social Behavior, with minors in Education and Civic and Community Engagement. She is a very enthusiastic, dedicated, and optimistic person who loves to be involved with her community. Through her family, she has been involved and connected to Rotary from a very early age! She participated in Jumpstart, and is currently involved with the ACCESS Social Ecology Program and the Sikh Student Association on campus. Hardeep is planning on obtaining her teaching credential in order to become a high school teacher. She also plans on being a Rotarian.
Interesting Fact: Hardeep ran two half marathons and a full marathon when she was ten years old!

About Me: Pedro is a second year at UCI majoring in Biological Sciences, with a minor in Civic and Community Engagement. Pedro is very friendly, outgoing, motivated, and enthusiastic about being proactive in our campus community. He is a member of UCI’s Circle K, Alpha Phi Omega- Rho Rho Chapter, and participates in many other organizations. Pedro wants to pursue a career that not only helps him grow professionally, but that reinforces the notion of community building.
Interesting Fact: Pedro is Guatemalan, and has 5 siblings!

About Me: Joyce is a third year undergraduate student at UCI studying Business Administration and minoring in Public Health Policy. She is a very involved student on campus, where she has participated in the UCI Communications Club, AMA, FSSP and other organizations alongside Rotaract. She is a very driven individual who wishes to incorporate her cultured and honest attitude towards her future career aspirations. She loves being part of a group of individuals who want to give back to the community, while growing professionally.
Interesting Fact: Joyce has a brother 11 years younger than her!

About Me: Sarah is a second year at UCI studying Economics. She joined Rotaract because she wants to help her community, and this was the perfect way to get involved! She has participated in beach-clean ups, tutored children for Claremont After School Programs (CLASP), Relay for Life, as well as other community service projects. She is an all-around friendly person and very compassionate.

About Me: Kenny is a third year student at UCI, studying Studio Art with a minor in Digital Art and Education. This will be his second year in Rotaract, and he is proud to be part of it since Rotary International was very active in the community in which he grew up in. Kenny enjoys paying it forward by doing volunteer work. He is involved with other organizations on campus, works with ImageWorks, and is a Student Manager for the UCI Men’s Basketball team; he films their games, works their camps, and helps them whenever he can. Kenny is a very determined hard worker with a great attitude.
Interesting Fact: Kenny loves Disneyland and is addicted to playing basketball!

About Me: Justin is a senior at UCI studying Economics and Political Science, and is planning on taking a year off and interning with the UN or in a congressional office in DC. He wants to pursue a life in international policy making/reform, focusing on water privatization regulations. He wants to travel the world and carve his name in a tree everywhere he goes, unless they don't have trees, in which case he'll settle for a bench or something. Justin is very friendly, enthusiastic, and full of positive vision. It is no surprise that he knows most everyone—he is very involved with ASUCI, has participated in Uncultivated Rabbits, and was a SPOP Staffer amongst other activities on campus.
Interesting Fact: Justin loves spoken word, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and lemurs/white tigers!
